Below, we go through all the features and game modes of the simulator in more detail.
How to play
The roulette trainer simulates how a real money roulette game works. It gives you an idea of what it's like to play roulette at online casinos.
Each game version shows you the unique features available in the variant. In addition, you'll see a "How to play" screen that shows you the game mechanics.
In a nutshell, you drag and drop chips from the left of the screen to the betting area. Tap on "SPIN" when you're done placing bets.
You can always click on the ⓘ icon at the bottom left of the screen. This shows you the instructions on how to play, the paytable with payouts and examples of each bet type.
Below, you'll find more information about the key features of the game.
Racetrack
Our European and French roulette variants feature the racetrack betting area. You can access it by clicking the "SHOW RACETRACK" button on the top right of the screen.
You can lay bets based on how the numbers are situated on the actual roulette wheel and bet on neighbouring numbers.
The racetrack also features the classic announced bets:
- Jeu zéro
- Voisins du zéro
- Tiers du cylindre
- Orphelins à cheval
You'll find more information about these in the roulette guide's announced bets section.
Results
The results of the 10 previous spins are displayed on the left-hand side of the screen, next to the chips.
The last number is on top and shows as slightly bigger than the rest.
Wallet
You start playing with 5000 chips of play money.
The balance carries over between versions: if you win big at French roulette, those chips are at your disposal in other variants too.
You can refill your in-game wallet at any time from the main menu.
Rules
In the main menu, you'll find a recap of the roulette rules.
Complete with illustrations and examples, this section is great for learning roulette from scratch and brush up on the basics.
Strategies
The roulette strategies section walks you through 9 different roulette systems with practical examples. We also discuss the purpose and shortcomings of roulette strategies in general.
Game modes
The roulette trainer features the three main versions of roulette: European, French and American roulette.
You can choose the version to play from the main menu.
European roulette
European roulette is the standard roulette version you'll find at all online casinos. The rules are simple and the payout percentage stays at 97.30% for all bets. Our version also features the racetrack betting area.
French roulette
French roulette closely resembles the European roulette version. The only difference is the "la partage" rule: when the ball lands on the zero, half of your even money bets (e.g. red or black) are returned.
The payout percentage for even money bets in French roulette is 98.65%, and 97.30% for the rest.
American roulette
Instead of having just one zero like the European and French roulette variants, the American roulette wheel has both 0 and 00. As a result, American roulette has a slimmer payout percentage of 94.74% which makes it a much worse option for players.
However, we wanted to include American roulette in our simulator to give you an idea of how this version and its payouts differ from the others.
