What does Ace Online Casino look like
Summary
Ace Online Casino is basically okay as casinos go, but it doesn't offer anything special and has several faults.
If you like their welcome offer and are in no hurry with your customer support requests, it's as good as any Jumpman casino to enjoy your favourite slots. And of those, they have plenty - their slot library runs into 2,000 and includes all the big names. Their live casino is tiny compared to their slots section, though.
2.1
Bojoko rating
Pros:
➕ Beautiful and easily navigable site
➕ Nice rewards program
Cons:
➖ Harsh wagering requirements ➖ Small game library ➖ £2.50 fee on all withdrawals ➖ Support available only by email and rather slow
Ace Online Casino is a 2023 addition to the Jumpman casino family, and it looks and feels a lot like many of its sister sites. The welcome bonus and other promotions are familiar from their other casinos, as is their game library.
Ace Online has a formidable slot library. There are also some scratch cards, bingo games and live casino games available.
The organisation of the games baffles me a bit though. While I can find roughly 2,000 games when I open the A-Z list, the number of slots displayed under the Casino tab only shows a couple of hundred. To a casual browser, the slot selection may seem a lot smaller than it actually is.
The layout and navigation of the page feel otherwise quite functional, even though the site did give me a few glitches every now and then. Their visuals are quite generic – the site looks like hundreds of others, with no personality whatsoever.
There are more major issues though – e.g. their mobile app, and their customer service. Or, more to the point, the lack of them. I will get more into these issues further down.
The casino would also profit from having more payment options, and their withdrawal times are long.
These issues are quite common throughout the whole family of Jumpman casinos, and Ace Casino does not rise above the fold here in any way, I'm afraid.

First deposit bonus at Ace Online Casino
The welcome offer at Ace Online is refreshingly different. Instead of a fixed offer, you get to spin the Mega Wheel for your prize, which could be anything from Amazon vouchers, bonus spins on Fluffy Favourites, or the chance to win up to 500 bonus spins on Starburst.
When you make your first deposit, you can get the following:
1st deposit: Spin the Mega Reel to win up to 500 bonus spins on Starburst
18+, New players only. £10 min fund. 65x bonus wagering requirements. Max bonus conversion to real funds equal to lifetime deposits (up to £250). Full and Bonus apply. BeGambleAware.org.
The Ace Online casino bonus is a simply spin at the Mega Reel. You may win one of the many different prizes, from Amazon vouchers to 500 bonus spins on Starburst.
You'll get your turn at the wheel with a deposit of just £10.
1st deposit: Spin the Mega Reel to win up to 500 bonus spins on Starburst
Reload Bonuses: Make a deposit of £20 to spin the wheel to win a minimum of 50 bonus spins
This is how it works:

Deposit minimum £10
Spin the Mega Reel
You may win up to 500 spins or Amazon vouchers
Getting your bonus off the Mega Wheel means that you may win any of the numerous prizes, including gift vouchers and various bonus spin packages on different slots. But there's also a chance you won't win anything at all.
I'm not personally attracted to a bonus like this at all. I might get something, or I might not – that's not exactly welcoming. But I understand the allure of this kind of gamble. It just doesn't seem terribly rewarding to me, knowing that someone else is getting vouchers or spins, while I may end up with nothing. It's like paying £10 for a ticket to a raffle with one big and several crappy prizes.
And let's not forget about the brutal 65x wagering requirement that's slapped onto all your bonus winnings. Combined with the weird withdrawal cap of maximum £250, or the amount of your lifetime deposits, whichever value is lower. This means that even if you get the huge 500 bonus spins package and then win something major with them, you can only withdraw that tenner you put in the first place.
Also note that if you should be lucky enough to hit the big prize of 500 bonus spins, you will be credited only 50 spins initially, and you have to email customer support to have them credit the rest. With the pace they reply to their emails, you'll be waiting a while...
All of this makes the casino look really stingy. It's as if they're doing everything they can to keep you from actually enjoying your wins in any tangible way.

Compare Ace Online Casino bonus
Here, you can compare Ace Online Casino's welcome offer to what other casinos have lined up for you. Just pick a site on the right and see who have the better offers.
With a game library of roughly 2,000 titles you'd expect to be able to play all your favourites at Ace Online.
Alas, there are some big players, such as Evolution, missing. Their table games would significantly enhance Ace Online Casino's portfolio. As it is now, the live casino is quite modest.
There are pull-down menus at the top of the page for bingo, slots, latest releases, jackpot games… even an item called My faves, which gets populated by your gameplay.
The weird thing is the fact that under the menu title Casino there are only a small portion of the slots. If you want to see them all, you need to open the A-Z list instead.
Luckily there's a handy search bar on the top right corner – I ended up using it a lot when searching for those favourites that did not appear under the Casino tab.
The games load quickly and without any issues. The navigation is generally smooth, but there are small issues, especially on mobile, when it's really easy to hit a wrong button and get lost.

Ace Online only offers a few dozen live casino games – most of them are live roulette, live blackjack and live baccarat tables, but there are also a few nice game shows on offer.
The brevity of their live catalogue is most likely due to the fact that they do not offer any games by Evolution, which is by far the most prominent live game provider. For a casino with the word ‘ace' in its name, its live casino games list is modest, to say the least.

I love spinning on my daily commute, so I was delighted to see that Ace Casino offers their own mobile app on GooglePlay.
But I couldn't load the app, no matter how much I tried. The button either crashed my browser and gave me all kinds of error messages, or it took me to GooglePlay, but Ace Online app was not available.
I'm not sure if this is a major issue, as many casinos boast their own mobile apps, but once you download it, it's basically just a screen-top icon that take you to the casino on your mobile browser.
So, I ended up just opening the casino on my browser.
The games I tried loaded sluggishly, and I couldn't get them to work in landscape mode at all, which is a bummer.
All in all, playing at Ace Online Casino on mobile wasn't exactly the perfect casino experience I've had with so many other casinos.
The range of deposit methods on offer at Ace Online Casino is small, but includes such popular and easy options as Visa & Mastercard, PayPal, and Neteller.
You can also use the ‘Pay by Mobile' option, so your deposit will be charged with your next phone bill.
As all good casinos do, Ace Online upholds anti-money laundering regulations which require you to only process withdrawals through a method that you previously used for your deposit.
Take note that withdrawals can take time. Once you place your withdrawal, a 72 hour pending period is set in place before the transaction is moved ahead, after which it will take 1-5 working days before your money lands on your account.
This 72 hour pending period is a drag, considering that most casinos manage to process their clients' withdrawals without it.
There's also a minimum withdrawal limit of £30, which I find way too steep for casual players.
Add to all this the fact that all withdrawals carry a processing fee of £2.50, and it certainly gives off the vibe that this casino is a bit too fond of what is technically MY money.

Customer service at Ace Online comes only in the form of a basic FAQ, and email.
The FAQ is short but covers common questions regarding banking issues, responsible gaming. Account management and other standard issues.
While using email for communications is fine as such, the fact that you will end up waiting for the answers for days on end is not so fine. This is a major issue for me, as I usually have details I want clarified before I start depositing.
At the time of this writing, I am still waiting for a reply to a query I sent five days ago. All I got was an automated response telling me that they were busy and would answer within three working days.

The KYC (Know Your Customer) process should be familiar to us all by now. It may seem like a drag, but the regulations are there for our safety.
You will be required to provide the casino with your identification documents. These consist of:
Proof of ID (passport, ID card, driving licence)
Proof of address (utility bill or an official letter with your name and address on it)
Proof of payment method
When logged in, you'll find all the details under My Account → Upload documents. Once this has been done, customer support will verify and confirm them, after which you are allowed to make a withdrawal request (don't hold your breath – you will be waiting for that confirmation for at least 72 hours, as their customer support isn't exactly speedy).
Ace Online Casino is a safe place to play at. Like all casinos worth your time and money, Ace Online Casino follow the regulations of the UK Gambling Commission, who have rigid guidelines when it comes to player safety.
The casino offers a selection of self-regulation tools that you can use to keep your playing at a healthy level.
Click the Responsible gaming link at the bottom of the page and you'll be able to set daily, weekly or monthly deposit limits. You also have two time-out options: Take a break for up to 6 weeks, and Self-exclusion of minimum six months.
Note that while the Take a break option works only on your Ace Online account, Self-exclusion applies to all accounts you may have within the entire Jumpman group.
After a long and winding career through advertising, translating, localization and creative writing, Tiina arrived at igaming a few years back - and fell immediately in love. She’s all about brands, visuals and usability, always on the lookout for the casinos that are able to put the fun into the functionality. When she isn’t writing about casinos or playing at them, Tiina’s probably watching F1, shouting at the screen.
